52

Hello lovies!

I am so sorry it has been since BEFORE Christmas that I posted!

I hope everyone had a BLESSED, beautiful, and happy Christmas. I know I did. I always forget how much family I have until it is the holidays. It seems that at Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving I am reminded of what a large and in charge family I come from. We are loud, awkward, funny, and most of all loving. I couldn't ask for anything more than that!

This break I have been to the following places: Dallas, Ft. Worth, Southlake, Oklahoma City, Kansas City (KS & MO), Overland Park, VAN!, Marshall, Shreveport, Tyler, Kilgore, Crockett, College Station, Huntsville, and FINALLY BACK TO SOUTHLAKE!

I'd have to say I'm a very well-traveled Texan, as well as a nice little dose of the mid-west!

But what was my favorite?

52.

Van, Texas.

For those who don't already know- I will be a Summer Camp Counselor at Sky Ranch this coming summer! Having this position has already been a huge blessing in my life, more than I could have ever imagined.

I have met phenomenal Christian college students who I am beyond to call my Brothers and Sisters in Christ. It is so awesome to be reminded that I am not the only college student choosing to live my life for Christ.

But anyways, back to why I found myself in little precious Van, TX this past weekend, 52. 52 is a conference held at Sky every year starting on New Years Day! What an incredible way to start off a new year! We talked about building bridges, we talked about what it means to be men and women of Christ, it was such a wonderful experience and I truly appreciate the fact that I was one of the lucky people who got to experience it! Not to mention we got to experience a very small dose of what this summer will entail. I am absolutely ecstatic to see how the Lord works in my life this coming year; I know it will be FULL of changes, and new experiences.

My constant Prayer is that I learn from everything, that this year will continue to shape me, to mold me, and to call me to do greater things.

My resolution for 2011 is to do everything well. Nothing in my life can be perfect all the time, I can't control every situation, or any task handed to me. But, I can choose how I react, and how I complete everything handed my way! And I choose to do it well!

Oh and how did I ring in the New Year? With a few precious friends and the biggest Big Gulp Slurpee we could find.

Have a blessed day y'all!
